Mick formed the company in 1965 with his partner, the late Johnny Davis.

With 35 years of demolition experience including practical knowledge gained from his time spent on sites, he understands both sides of the business - the practical and the increasing administratiion (acting as Principal Contractor, providing Construction Health and Safety Plans etc.)

Michael Samson - Company Estimator/Contracts Manager

Michael joined his father's company in 1980 after leaving the army.

He started on site as a crane driver and worked his way up to Site Foreman before joining the Head Office management team.

Kevin Wood MCIOB - Surveyor

From a predominantly surveying background, Kevin rejoined the company this year. Responsible for surveying aspects, he also advises on estimating and commercial issues.

Bob Alford - Contracts Supervisor/Site Manager

Bob joined the company in 1968 as a machine driver. He has worked his way through the management structure to his present position. With more than 30 years experience at site level, he has considerable experience in every type of structure and site conditions.

Other Staff
Our Site Foremen and a large percentage of our staff have been with the company for 15 years or more. Davis & Samson encourage staff to grow and develop their skills through attending recognised training courses as well as receiving specialist in-house training.
